Does Nuso work with multiple Shopify stores?

Yes. You can connect multiple Shopify stores to a single Nuso organisation. Data from all stores is aggregated by default in the overview dashboards, with per-store filtering available on all reports. Each store syncs independently and stores are managed from the Settings page. This also makes Nuso suitable for agencies managing multiple client stores.

What is Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and do I need it?

Marketing Mix Modelling is a statistical technique that uses your historical sales and spend data to measure the true incremental contribution of each marketing channel — without relying on tracking pixels or cookies. Since iOS 14 made pixel-based attribution unreliable, MMM has become the gold standard for understanding how much of your revenue is genuinely driven by Google, Meta, TikTok, and other channels. Nuso includes four MMM frameworks (OLS, PyMC, Meridian, and Robyn) built in.

Do I need my own Gemini API key for AI features?

Yes — Nuso uses your own Google Gemini API key for AI Studio and the AI Assistant. This means you pay Google directly at their published rates (typically fractions of a penny per generation), and there are no Nuso markups on AI costs. You add your Gemini API key once in Settings and all AI features become available. Getting a Gemini API key is free and takes about 2 minutes via Google AI Studio.

How long does it take to connect Shopify?

Connecting your Shopify store takes under 5 minutes. You enter your store URL and Admin API access token (which you create in Shopify's Partners/Apps section), and Nuso immediately starts syncing your orders and products. Your last 12 months of order history syncs on first connection, and new orders sync hourly after that. There is no Shopify app listing — Nuso connects directly via the Admin API.

Is Nuso self-hosted or cloud-hosted?

Nuso is self-hosted — you run it on your own server (DigitalOcean, AWS, Hetzner, or any VPS). The code is open-source on GitHub and deploys in about 10 minutes with a PostgreSQL database. Self-hosting gives you full data ownership, no per-seat pricing, and the ability to white-label the platform for agency use. A managed cloud-hosted version is on the roadmap for 2026.
